I saw it at WWN, decided to post it here. They make the Water Warriors line if you didn't know.

Yes. I believe that the Pirahna is the 2004 version of the 2003 Lightning. Or is it the other way  I have yet to atain a Lightning, but from what I hear, it is on par with a Blazer.

Actually I just bought the Piranha. It is quite good for its size. The thing that impress's me the most is the long shot time. I only use the largest nozzle though, the others are just to small.

Yes the Pirahna/Lightning (Lightning is the 2003 version, Pirahna is 2004) is an EXCELLENT back up, I would say the best around. It is a very compact gun that performs much better than other guns of it's size. The most compact Cps gun, since it has a constant stream. Its power is the same as the Blazer, but the shot time is decreased by about half. The guns can easily shoot over 40 feet on the biggest nozzle, which is much better than an XP the same size, especially since the Pirahna/Lightning/Blazer have, like I just said, a constant stream. I wouldn't reccomend the Blazer because it isn't very powerful for its size, but I would absolutely reccomend the Pirahna or Lightning for anyone.

From what ihave heard, the Pirahna/Lightning have the same power as the Blazer, but with less capacity.

EDIT: I had two "B"s in "Blazer"

Thats what I just said in my post, that they have the same power but decreased shot time.

Theres only one problem with the Piranha, if you pump wildly the shaft can fall off. But it is really easy to put it back on.

There is no "best gun". Most people fail to understand this concept. A soaker is judged by the battle conditions. For example, a CPS 2000 would not be wieldy in a hit and run campaign in a mountainous area. A max-d or xp would be more suiting. A 2000 would control an open field, however. A gun becomes good or becomes bad due to terrain and type of war. The "best gun" in one situation could become the "worst gun" in another.

Ill say it again, A backup gun should be at least as powerful, if not more than, your main weapon. The main problem with the piranha/Lightning is that they cannot compete with, and hold their ground against, CPS weaponry.
40 feet? Have you measured that? Don't post a range unless you can either get it accurate, or within a 5ft. margin of error. My friend's Piranha can not shoot 40ft. If you have to get a 2004 gun, however, then go ahead and get the Piranha, it beats the soaker-tags.

By the way Dux, the piranha and blazer are cps. They're just a different type of PC. And I do agree that it doesn't shoot 40 feet. More like 30.

Depending on what you have, a back up weapon does not have to be of greater power, but I would say it needs to be close to the exact same power. If you have a cps 2000 how are you going to have a gun of greater power? I say just get a gun that you can rely on if your main weapon runs out.

CPS tech is patented by Hasbro though-meaning other companies can't use it.
Water warriors uses similar tech, but its not real CPS. I also didn't say a backup had to be greater power, just at least the same as the main weapon.
