I have also emailed Hasbro-awaiting their response.

Please have an actual person read this because if I recieve an auto-response then I know that it will not be shared with the management team and no one at Hasbro will hear my opinions.

There are many people at SSCentral and WaterWar.net who feel that the 2004 line of super soakers is sub-standard. Our age range is 9-to maybe 23. We want powerful guns like the older CPS weapons. A Monster XL will fetch up to $194 on Ebay and a CPS 2000 will get up to $200 thrown at it. These powerful, high quality soakers are in high demand and your company's image would benefit from throwing in even just one or two CPS class soakers each year. We have noticed a huge dip in quality and the newer water guns fail to live up to the name of "super soaker". Hasbro will fade out if it does not change its ways. Water Warriors and Buzz Bee toys are trying to capitalize on the gap and fill the void left by the removal of CPS tech. Soakage enthusiasts will turn away from Hasbro products if other companies start producing quality soakers. Companies start to flounder when they abandon quality in order to rack up money. Catering future soakers to younger kids may be more profitable, but a 6 year old is not going to provide important feedback. Soaker tag guns have been a huge dissapointment and have sent us fleeing in droves to Ebay. Sports Authority has gained new fame simply because they put CPS 2100's on their shelves. CPS soakers got hundreds of older kids into water wars, and air pressure is not having the same effect. Please find it in your hearts to forsake the greed for money, and keep the hungry masses happy with some more CPS guns.

-Duxburian and everyone from SSCentral

Rinkydinkysplat, make sure your posts have some point behind them before posting. Add to the discussion!

Good letter, if Hasbro misses that one then it's hopeless. Send it again in that case. I think they give you first a computer response and then a human response. At least that's what it was in my case, and that's what it sounded like from what nibordude said.

I just sent a message because I'm mad at a few things. I vented everything out at Hasbro. I really flamed at them in this, telling them how XPBackfire-esquepy their products are.

Quote:
Almost everyone at SSCentral.Net and WaterWar.Net agree with me on this. I'm not going to lie, I am going to make this sharp and to the point. Your new 2004 line sucks, and everyone knows it. Nothing is good about your poor weak wimpy line of air pressure soakers. It was good in the old days like two years ago and back, when SuperSoaker was actually a line of products that could soak people. The 2004 SoakerTag line? Total XPBackfire-esque. They are underpowered, and should be called SuperLightly-Damper because of how XPBackfire-esquepy they are. I don't know if you people have some older guns in your storage somewhere but if you do I want you to play with one, then go play with one of your ripoff SoakerTag guns. Nothing beats quality. We aren't just dissapointed. We are angry. If you think that kids like this type of XPBackfire-esque power, and that your sales will increase, you are completely wrong. If you guys at Hasbro don't change you products, lower the outrageously high prices, remove the stupid pointless gimmics of your guns, and reintroduce the Cps line by next year, I will make sure that kids know (and thousands already do thanks to our websites) how terrible your guns are. They are not mediocre, they are just plain bad. Again, I would be lying if I said that your guns need improvement. Your guns need one thing right now: to take a trip to the trash. Sure the stupid useless features on your new guns may make kids like them for now, but not in the long run. Don't ignore this. Read it and listen.

Hasbro is pissing me off. I think I'm going to drink some warm milk and sleep on it.

We have returned to the middle ages of Water warfare...

Strangely, most of my hobbies(plastic soldiers,Total Annhilation, water warfare)have small fanbases. While we get new members we lose older ones.Like Freakymist.I haven't seen him since the old waterwar.net.His site isn't up anymore(I think.)Thus unless WE TAKE ACTION I feel the quality of the Super Soaker will only decline into nothingness.

The MD: SS Is actually a great gun if used for backup, also, if you have one, try pushing the Secret Strike button and pulling the trigger, it's a cool looking effect, and does OK damage.

Sorry for bringing up an old topic...

But my responses were answered in like 2 days. Also, I said that my 4100 was broken. It's not but my 2100 is. I registered a fake name for security purposes. Now they're sending a 2004 gun to me by the name of Mark Biot, which is my fake name. Can I get sued? Or can I even pick it up at my postal office?

Commander_Gaunt, I don't find that kind of post very constructive. Please refrain from making such a post in future. <_<

CG, do you realise that one of the main things that was annoying about your offending post was the fact that it basically boosted your post count while providing virtually no useful information? If that was true with the first one, it is certainly true with the apologetic one. It's nice that you apologised, but there's no need for posting it in a thread (you could use the PM service) and thus increasing your post count. I'd give you some R/O if I could...but I warned you too recently, so be grateful you got away with it this time, and don't do it again. <_<

You can always divulge your real information to a well-known company (like Hasbro or FedEx). It's never a good idea to give fake information in any case, because you can end up digging yourself a hole which you may not be able to climb out of.
A lot of the security issues are really overhyped. You can divulge your real name without worrying about some stalker coming to your house, as long as your not an idiot and go onto a sex chat room.
