ROFL That was funny! Some kid in my dad's hometown dropped a brick of pilfered sodium off a bridge and blew a chunk out of one of the pylons.

I don't think dry ice is the way to go. While the gas buildup might cause it to blow up, dry ice comes in bricks, and it would NOT be cool to drop one of those on someone.

Why is everyone so facinated with the giant water nuke thing? I find it really bad because

1) HEAVY
2) Can't aim it
3) Will not do any more damage than 4 or 5 normal sized balloons
and
4) Large.

I'd just make a "WBL Container" out of PVC, just take some 3" pipe and cut it 12"-17" long, Cap it off on one end, and on the other, use a 3" adapter to go from Socket to Male threaded, then, buy a 3" female threaded cap to go on it and you're all set!

Dry ice is just frozen carbon dioxide. When it is released into the air, it returns to gas form instantly, creating a heavy mist cloud for a few seconds. Perhaps it could be used to disorientate the enemy... Chemical warfare, yeah, but it might work as a distraction. just have some dry ice in a tupperware and have some guy take off the lid...There's you distraction. It's also not dangerous, since it's in the air in it's gas form anyway.

Just double-layer a party balloon & fill it up to the max, and drop it.

.....or make a kind of nuke by putting 4-5 double-layered balloons near each other in an area, and duct tape a bottle rocket to each one :Hey, that's funny.: , but that might hurt someone if a rocket got loose, and it would be easy to see, so anyone with half a brain would stay away. :angry:

Do you know what would happen if one of the people came in comtact with the dry ice? The part of their body that toutched it would instantly freeze over. That includes the blood cells, nerve endings and skin cells. If you don't rush to a hosptial imeadatly it might mean amputation. Then a million-dollar lawsuit for whoever thought of this stupid idea!
