The monster rocket has a ckeck valve? Interesting. Sure if it had one, you could freeze it, and the pump it up to the point at which it would be able to lift water off of the ground. I would want to fire it at a 45 degree angle, so you get a misille type effect, and the water bombs don't just come back to where you are and get yourself wet. If any one has bought a Monster Rocket, perhaps they could find out if it has a check valve or not.

If you got enough power to lift water off the ground, you could attach small rotors to the back stablizers and control the rocket's direction, via a remote control.

As I said, point the rocket in the general direction. Unfortunately, the fancy stuff- roaters, etc. will be destroyed upon impact. It would be a devastating blow, but not worth the price of the technology.
About the check valve, I assume it has one, since the monster rocket in basicaly a super powered super soaker that fires down to shoot itself up. You could probably mount it on a strong stand sideways. Then remove its base stand. Pump it up, and launch it!
The rocket wouldn't go anywhere. There would just be a huge blast of water out the tail end, that with some practice you could hit the enemy.

The Monster Rocket has a special leveler (the things that have a little air bubble srounded with liquid inside so you can tell if it's straight) inside it. If the air bubble isn't facing straight up, it will not fire  . But I guess you can take the water out and put in glue so the air bubble is alyays on top.

Here's something some of you may be interested in. Just get a larger, maybe 12" balloon and fill it up to get a real water nuke that might be useful.

I actually originally joined Aquatica about a month or two before I started posting. I read it at the Yahoo Aquatica later while looking for it because I remembered seeing it. That's how I found it.

hmmm....bout the water nukes, would something with dry ice work, or would that be too dangerous?

I don't know, but if you want anything close to a water nuke, you could make a giant WBL that launches trash bags of water. Hey, that's funny., that would take so much pressure.

Maybe you can plant it on top of enemy base doorways/steps and camolage it. Maybe then you can use a rock or slingshot to pop it from a distance. I dunno
Hey, that's funny., nice idea...

I was thinking of maybe using dry ice. I have heard that when dry ice is warmed up, it releases gas. If you put a bit of dry ice into a garbage bag filled with water and quickly tie the end, it might be possible to burst the bag open and spray all the water out.

The only problem is, I DON'T KNOW WHERE TO GET DRY ICE!

At the dollar store you can buy balloons that blow up to 4 feet. This would be a good nuke.

Make a WBL out of the biggest PVC you can find, and then use regular balloons filled with water. Or a catapult with a regular balloon.

Dry Ice?!!! Surely that would be classed as chemical warfare?! Anyway back to the water nuke thing, I use my big catapult, it fires (water balloons) from a large bucket, I just fill it with water and fire it, it has a massive spread when hurled with such force.

This would be too dangerous, but it could create a "H20 Nuke".

Cesium Initiative
(Siezing the Initiative)
2000 Personal Account

(New York) Stewart had always been interested in science. During a demonstration at his high school, Stewart saw that the elements lithium, sodium, and potassium all react with water. While assessing the periodic table, he noticed they were all in the same row, and became more reactive as they increased in mass. The last naturally occurring element in that column was cesium, an extremely reactive metal that catastrophically explodes in contact with water.

Stewart used most of his money to buy a small amount of cesium, just 10 grams or enough to blow up a city block, from eBay with the help of his father and a credit card. When the ampoule of cesium arrived, he took it for a boat ride. After cracking the vacuum-sealed glass container, he threw the cesium out into Lake Erie... and was never seen again.

One can only assume that he was instantly blown to smithereens by the chemical reaction. People heard the blast on the coast 5 miles away. Perhaps he should have opted for a less reactive metal, and only blown up a few fish.

The lesson?
Don't wash your hands with cesium.
It will have an adverse affect your health.
*********************************

Maybe lithium would be safe enough to use, but the chain reaction might just get rid of the water instead of exploding it. Plus, who has $300 to blow?

**NOTE: I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF SOMEONE TRIES ANY OF THESE CHEMICALS. CONSIDER YOURSELF WARNED.**

EDIT: Yikes! I looked at the average prices of the chemicals mentioned.

Cesium: $30 per GRAM
Potassium: $40 per pound. RADIOACTIVE.
Sodium: $0.15-$0.20 cents per pound for one type, $35 per pound for another.
Lithium: $300 per pound.

I found this information here.
