Does anyone have a good way to reinforce a 1500/1700 pump? Or anything else with a fragile pump system?

I think Doom suggested a piece of dowel or metal rod placed inside the pump. I might do that with my 1700.

Wow, so smart! That's a great idea!. It would be so easy too! I'm going to the hardware store right now for some metal dowels.

I think I had that in one of my articles (K-mod?), but I'm not going to check.

You don't need to buy a dowel rod, a pencil will fit great usually.
