Why does it matter if one hurts more than the other? Thats pretty stupid to judge a game by how much it hurts, unless your a sadio massochists :P ( yes I know you were just responding to someone elses post with that)

He was just implying that you have to be tougher and be able to take more damage in paintball than other gun-type games.

monsoon, you mean people have to be tougher in AIRSOFT than in paintball (thats what I meant anyways). in airsoft, you have plastic bbs flying 500+ feet per second. and in korea, they have power skirmishing. usually in airsoft, its 1 hit kill, in power skirmishing, you are out when you feel you can't take anymore because there are no fps (feet per second) limits in korea. So people have insanely modded guns that shoot 800+ feet per second. they Don't allow full face masks either, only goggles.

500+ - funny. most AEG's stick around 300 or so. not to mention the fact that you can't even feel a 6mm bb through baggy jeans anywhere below, say, 600fps.

people mod their guns ya know? because at 100ft, you can just dodge the bbs from a 300fps gun. and snipers need the velocity and range too. they can't stick with a psg-1 with only 300fps, or a bolt action with ~300fps can they? they put in a stronger spring and metal internals.

edit: most fields and leagues Don't allow you to wear civilian wear. most force you to wear bdu's. and most skirmishes last a couple hours. who would wear jeans for hours? it'll get sweaty!

Thats not being tough, thats just being stupid. Thats like cutting your weiner off just to brag about it.

blueviper, answer this question please. why do people play football and hockey? people want to have fun. and to excel in the sport, you have to be tough. I was saying airsoft players need to be tougher to play, I never said they need to be tough to brag did I? please read the entire post next time. kthxbai.
