according to my measuring of my CPS 4100 nozzles, 1/4'' is about 8.5 or 9x.

When I said that, you misunderstood me. I meant I was wondering what the x was of his gun. Thanks though because I was kinda wondering that anyway.

He means the output in x. I haven't tested it yet, the next time I'll be able to is Tuesday.

[at]Blaze
you can't measure x by nozzle size alone, output is what's counted.

The ratings on the box arnt quite as accurate. I believe the boys down at tech created a formula for Output and nozzle width to figure out the "true" "X".

output in x = your soaker's output / xp 70's output

It has a backpack, right? Are the tanks on the top of the gun the pressure tanks?

it looks fairly simple. I'm not to good at homemades. I have never tried one, but that looks simple. Besides that fact that I have no ideah what you have for your pressure tanks. Is that just like 2" PVC with a cap er something. Can you get a pict with the backpack also? I wanna see the entire lay out.

Blaze, I've said I haven't taken the output yet, which also was said was the x. I don't know the x year, but for 1/4" it's probably over 10X and for 3/8" probably over 17X. Riot blast must be at least 30X.

Yes it has a backpack. and yes those are pressure chambers. I don't think they could be anything else. I'll try to get a picture of the whole gun this afternoon.

The pressure chambers are made out of 4" of 3" ID PVC, a 3" endcap, a 3" to 2" coupler and a 2" to 3/4" couple.
