I don't get it. 1st why is it 1500s/1700s. 2nd why do they like tricking and screwing people so much. And 3rd, how is this legal. THEY ARE LYING TO US! I personnally find it an outrage. We are just kids who want a nice fun water gun. Not a rip off! :angry:

because the manufacturers are based in foreign countries where the US can't get governmental cooperation to make a bust. some people just care about money dude, get used to it.

yea remember when I ordered one? if u guys at sscentral hadnt told me it was fake, I would have wasted 22 bucks and my parents wouldnt be very happy about it. but I canceled the order and thats good.

They do it because people think of the SS name and they think of quality. As Neo said, they don't have to follow the US rules because they are manufactured elsewhere.

You have to be pretty dumb to get tricked into thinking its a CPS 1500. I eamn, just look at all the differences!

There is a good fake CPS 1000, but it looks exactly the same as a normal one except for the sticker. I think it's a real bootleg, meaning it was made by Larami but sold illegally.
