UserID: 1 |  Saying that it expands to 3 times it's length I would go with the 1/2". The homemade uses all it's tubing space, this mod can not be performed on it. Good points Xray, water is not compressable for us (unless you want to make a water pressure gun, it would have to be like 10000 psi!) I thought it had to do more with the expandability of the rubber, until it is tried no one will know though. Don't try it unless you want a larger PC.
