forecast for at my school from weather.gov is predicting about 13" but i think were going to get more...

We had a dusting at the start of this week. Don't think we'll see any more big falls like we had in December and January, but you can't really know.

We are supposed to get a couple of inches again this week, but we haven't had more than one good snow storm this year...yet.

still snowing here, predictions are to 19-22 inches. currently around 15-16

classes were cancelled today and tomorrow

We got over 12 inches of snow and no cancelled classes, no late start, just regular school. Man that makes me MAD!

By the way, who actually makes the decision to cancel school or not? Is it the principal or the superintendant?

Haha, you had school. Class gets canceled if we get an inch!

Some people were throwing snowballs at my window so I brought out my CPS 2000. My roommate has a video of it somewhere.

Superintendent decides at the school district I went to.

Here in MI, there was only about 6in. Nonetheless, most schools and many college campuses (including my own) were closed.

Hehe, nice pic and story, m4. We got about 8 more inches on top of about 2 feet of snow. School has been cancelled the whole week! :P

You guys are lucky, getting school off because you are on the east coast. In illinois, 12 inches over 5 or 6 hours isn't even enough to get off of school!
