I average about 58 WPM - screw the home-row XPBackfire-esque! I use whatever finger gets to the key first Hey, that's funny.

Im currently working on making tank-wars in VB, taking me forever to program it... im also messing around and 'hacking' with VB aswell, I can access whatever I want/need on the school comps, and I can delete windows if I really want to...

I Don't know enough C++ to get anywhere with it, too bad. Im not that great in java either... but VB/HTML (sorta PHP) im good in.

Same here, Hey, that's funny. I have my unique own way of typing. I average 84-95 words per minute from All the Right Type I think its called. ims till in that class, has gotten me nothing but a good grade.

Hey, what's wrong with that? I still have my Apple LC II at my house. A quality piece of machinery. ^_^

Nothing's wrong with it, it just was like 1998 or something and they didn't have any Windows computers. I used to have an Apple ][e and a few clones because my mom got them for free from her work. They have really fun games, and for some reason I like waiting for it to load and listening to the disc spin and XPBackfire-esque. It's good fun. I remember this one kids game that was almost like an RPG and I really loved it, I forget what it was called but likely I could find it.

Cool

This year in 7th grade they attempted(I use this term lightly because its barely "attempt" worthy....)to teach us how to type. I STILL use 2 fingers. Just faster.Hahahahahaha :Hey, that's funny.:Oh yeah the prgram was called....ummmmmmm...oh YEAH! Mavis Beacon! It was funny because you could cheat and make it seem like you did better than you really did! :Hey, that's funny.:

Photoshop elements 2.0 is better than anything else out there. Unfortunatly I can't use it as I have a PC.
That seems incorrect - to me atleast, elements is at my school and it has degraded/removed functions of Photoshop 6.0 & 7.0.

You can't use it because you have a PC? ...That makes no sense whatsoever. I mean, what do you have then? An Apple II? Hey, that's funny.

BTW I've always used Macintosh comps, great stuff. Windows is only good for gaming because they get all the support for it.

I had the same 1993 PowerMac 127 MHz comp up until 2003, it was reliable as Hasbro HQ. It had so many upgrades too, it was 1.0 GHz and had 512 MB RAM when I got a new computer, the only problem was the slot used for the graphics card wasn't supported any longer and I couldnt run OS X. It was always running at 52 Celcius or higher... overclocked

Nowadays I run a G5 at 4.0 GHz and 2 GB of RAM, burn Bill Gates, burn.

I also have a Power Mac from 1993, Power Mac 6100, it's the worst one there is but it works great for what I use it for. I love it, I rarely use it now, only for sound editing because it's got the best free sound programs available, except for Sound Edit 16 which came installed on it, the only pay sound program I have. It's built in sound stuff is great too btw, I really can work a lot better on that than a PC.

I prefer PC (using windows) becuase Macintosh comps crash a lot (at least they did at my old middle school). At my high school they use windows and they never crash. Macs have better programs, but windows has many more compatible games.

Well, I can't install any versions of photoshop on my comp. (its a Dell.)

At my shcool they teach us typing on Mavis Beacon too. I Don't use that home-row thingy, I just kinda move my hands and whatever finger is closer is what hits it. And your right, you can cheat on Mavis Beacon. ^_^ I got like an A+ even though I deserved like a C. And dang, you guys are fast at typing. My WPM is only like 40-45. <_< <_<

Its not really 4.0 GHZ, its dual 2.0 GHZ. Yes, there is a difference.

Why are some of you so against typing programs and removing microtype was a waste of a hack, in 5th grade I signed in as network services and disabled the appletalk network, much more fun (teacher, I can't reach the server)

I use Windows (Xtra Pathetic) here because I've got tons of games, also, I'm a graphics person, and there are more programs out there for Windows.
