UserID: 1517 | Hmm...cool idea. Questions: Is it going to be mobile? If it isn't, then that's going to be easy to avoid. What kind of gun is it going to use? A homemade or a stock? Will it have the advantage of using a hose or will it use a water pump? I guess that's it for now, until you get more info. I'm really into robotics and stuff, so it'd be cool to see results.

UserID: 1431 | I'll be sure to tell Auth about this, as he is very interested in projects like this. Good luck, and keep us posted. Storm

UserID: 1400 | I've seen something similar sold as a cat deterrent. It's basically a PIR sensor that when it detects something, sprays some water. Not entirely sure of the details.

UserID: 576 | Ben posted a link here. It wasn't a very powerful one, though. Hopefully you'll have better luck/loftier goals!

UserID: 1693 | A pretty good idea (although a bit impractical effort-wise) would be to have a guy access the sprinklers and activate them when appropriate. Cheap, but I've used this for several water wars. Unfortunately, I don't have a video or a link to show ...
