UserID: 1400 | A week or so ago I saw John Lewis in Reading, England, had XP 240's on sale (amongst other more recent guns). Does anyone know if it's been rereleased, or if it's just old stock. They had Storm 500's too, so maybe it's the latter sadly. |

UserID: 320 | I think it's just old stock. The XP 240 hasn't been re-released since 2002, and typically Hasbro re-releases the old Max-D guns instead of the XPs. I haven't seen Storm in years, so my guess is that it's only old stock.

UserID: 77 | Were they the same colours as the standard XP 240? I saw in Aldi the rereleased XP 270 in non-original colours, and it had © 2008 Hasbro on the box. Max-D 5000s were also available.

UserID: 1400 | Wow! Really! Aldi's the last place I'd have looked! There's one going to open near me soon. The one's I'd seen looked like the standard colours. I didn't think to check copyright dates. The packaging looked a lot like that of the current blasters, but I don't know how the 240 was originally packaged. EDIT: I checked. It's a 2007 rerelease, as evidenced by the copyright date and the range of blasters from that year depicted on the back (including the FF and Arctic Shock) Seriously, if Hasbro can re-release XP's, can they not rerelease at least a smaller CPS, like the 2100?
