Found it in a Google search, looks weird, has a built in shield! It's a crank type, kind odd.

its similar to something on ebay right now, the crank idea. on ebay, though, it's deck mounted and huge. but still, it's not a bad concept. I'd assume the internals basically work the same way as a small DC pump would, so it should be cool.

I've seen the deck mounted thing. I think they pretty much are the same thing, just different companies.

The bicycle whind mechanism was there last year on cheaper soakers. But regardless of that, I find it better than the countless back and forward pumping. Pressurizing through winding will be faster.

Personaly, I could not care less about the shield, so at the end its the nozzle size that interests me. It has 4 nozzles. So this will be interesting.

you Don't pressurize through winding, you shoot through winding. so, like power-soakers, power depends on arm strength.

So its exacty like that ebay boat cannon. This would save time. I wonder if the image which is shown on the description is the 3000 or one of the smaller series.

yeah. the shield is kind of an odd addition, since it's so small I think it would be very hard to use. I like our homemade shields better.

Plus, you can make about 5 of the SScentral ones for the price of one Mattel.

Ok, I won't caps out. The thing is XPBackfire-esque. This was what I was talking about over at WWN in "Bicycle style pumping"

Quote:
Let me describe to you the shape the Soaker I tried took. Ya know the Needler in Halo? Do a melee attack with it and observe what he must do to get his hand in position. Now elimanate the needles and make the very first layer on top clear and on a hinge and twistable on the front end. Now put the nozzle setup of the 310 on it and a crank on the left side. Presto.

Quote:
The force of rotating the thing when handheld does screwey things with your arm. Its not comfortable and I wouldnt buy another WG with a crank that wasn't mounted
