To add on to what StormGlorius said, there is a small group of people who join and just read the posts and not post too often. I used to be this way for most of 2005 and 2006. I posted infrequently, but usually my posts were very long and well thought out. I don't think I cracked 200 posts until late last year at best. The best way to get people to post, in my opinion, is to get as many interesting discussions going on at once, so that at least one of them would interest someone enough to post. That's my theory.

As was said earlier, this forum is public now. I thought they'd appreciate a private place, but they said it wasn't necessary.
