Let's not get too silly on these special posts, 100 post marks might just about be acceptable but I think 50s is going a little far.

Hey, that's funny., when I first made this topic there were only 5000 posts, now there are more than 19600! :Hey, that's funny.: I feel old despite having only been on SSC since January. Anyway I think posting here about 100's is still too small. Unless it is your personal 100th post or 200th post, etc. Posts here about the forum number should be limited to 1000's.

<EDIT>At one point today we had 18 people on! Most were guests, but still we haven't had that many people on since last November.

Er, I think about 6 of us posted at the exact same time all thinking we had numero 20K! I know I thought I had it but it appears that we all thought we had it! :P

Either way I am satisfied by having 2 posts during the major lag between 19998 and 20004. I actually didn't go for the 20Kth in this topic, I made a post at about that time in a different topic. So I don't know what number it was but it was close, although it can't be compared to the order of those who got through here, so we'll never know.

Oh, the longest running topic I've ever made and the one that lived to see posts #5000 through #20000 is now killed?

<EDIT> Although now I do see that it was overused recently. When it was created back in early March it was posted in very sparingly each month up to this one.
