UserID: 320 | 1. CPS 1000 2. CPS 1200 3. CPS 2100 4. SS 300 I just really like the size of the smaller CPS guns. Not too big yet not too small. Perfect in my opinion.

UserID: 77 | This isn't that easy to formulate, actually. Here goes anyway: 1. CPS 1000 2. CPS 1200 3. CPS 2000 4. XP 110 Quite similar to Drenchenator's list, really. Note that this list does not necessarily represent what my choice of blaster would be for a real-life water fight.

UserID: 75 | 1. CPS 1200 2. CPS 1000 3. CPS 2500 4. CPS 1500 Jumping on the mid-size CPS bandwagon lol...except that I prefer the 1200 over the 1000 for its longer field time.

UserID: 576 | 1. CPS 4100 2. Orca A very sad list. I haven't used any other guns that I care to mention, and I don't want to name anything just based on others' reviews. I actually saw a CPS 2000 the other day, on the seniors' last day of school when they have water fights in the parking lot. For me that's a big deal. ![]() Oh, and if he's anything like me, Drenchenator just suggested four water guns since his opinions of everything after that probably dropped off sharply. It's generally safer to cut short your list then to add something you don't really like just to round it off. ![]()

Just to note, I did use a CPS 2000 during a birthday party in either the 2nd or 3rd grade. I thought it was awesome, but it didn't make my list because I really don't think it's that great right now. Sure, it has great performance but really isn't that good for anything else. It burns up your water too quickly and without the option to not.

UserID: 345 | 1. CPS 1700 2. CPS 2100 3. CPS 2700 4. Firehose! Only guns I've used that are worth mentioning. @ used man - I've tried it, the MXL is fun but it doesn't fit my hand nicely. |

UserID: 1520 | The monster xl is a firehose thus mxl is your 4th choice lol.I think its big and not to hard to carry but that screw sticking out right behind the handle digs into my thumb so bad!! My review is with mostly using it on dual 5x wich rocks.

UserID: 1441 | 1. CPS 1000 2. CPS 1500 3. SC 500 4. STE: Triple Shot Of course there are other CPS's I own which I would rather use in a water fight than 3 and 4, but I just really liked the SC 500 and the Triple Shot was awesome for taking to school. ![]() |

UserID: 1431 | Yeah, I used to take my Liquidator in my bag when people began throwing water bombs at school. Just in case. Only had to use it once though, shot someone as they tried to hit me with a water bomb as I was riding past on my bike. Storm,

UserID: 1400 | In no particular order: CPS 1000. The most compact CPS, still with good power and range. I've known some say it's the best gun ever. I disagree - I think there IS no single best gun, since it depends what you want it for. But the 1000 is a very good gun. Sadly I don't own one and haven't used them much. CPS 3000. I've never had the pleasure of using one of these. I have, however, recently fought against one, in a 4v1 1HK battle (the 1 having the 3000). It didn't take me long to realise that ultimately even if we could outduel him, we were not going to outlast him, so I decided to backstab my allies instead! That is its strength. You are NOT going to run out of water. I also like the Typhoon blast. Arctic Blast. This one I own, and it's my favourite (though if more testing confirms the Tiger Shark has better range that might change). The main stream is OK, there's no dropoff since it's CPS, and the Riot Blast feels devastating (though in truth, other guns beat it). Also, the top mounted trigger for the blast may be worse for surprise, but helps for intimidation. I'm chasing some people in a soakfest, and when they see my other hand move to the top, they run even faster! I didn't actually feel the need to shoot them (not least because the CPS 3000 wielder was making menacing advances - this was just after the 1HK battle I mentioned above). 3l Garden Sprayer. I've described this elsewhere. Its strength is a shot time over four MINUTES. Its weakness is lousy range and output for its weight. But one of the most useful features is the trigger has a latch. Engage it at the gun keeps shooting. Prop the nozzle up pointed in a suitable direction (it nicely clips onto the tank pointed at about 45 degrees) and you have hands free, unattended blasting. Great from vehicles, potentially also useful on the person - though I haven't yet tried that, and friendly fire could be an issue. You could do the same thing with most homemades I guess, since they use the ball valves, or even on a stock gun with an improvised clip. But the long shot time is needed to make it useful. Narrowly missed out - Max-D 2000. Small enough to slip in my inside coat pocket, yet vastly better than the similarly sized XP220 or Storm 500. But too many pumps, a trigger that's bad for tap shots, and mine eventually breaking exclude it from the top four. Up and coming - Water Warriors Stingray. I like the gun a lot, but I need to make more use of it to judge just how good it is, and whether it's a worthy replacement for my Max-D 2000. PS: Yes I know the thread's a bit old. |

UserID: 1590 | Interesting, many people have said that the Typhoon blast is not that useful. Also, is there a difference between the CPS 1000's performance and the CPS 1200's? They seem very similar yet a lot of people are preferring one over the other. (I bought a CPS 1200 recently and am wondering if it can beat a 1000) |
