Default CPS 2000?

http://cgi.ebay.com/SUPER-SOAKER-CPS...QQcmdZViewItem

Just curious, is there any reason this isn't going for very much when the ones below are going for a ton?

Found out why:

One minor issue, it does have a very slow air leak. When you pump it up full of air, it slowly looses pressure.

Most won't want to have an air leak in a gun they just purchased. Also, it has over a day left... Prices seem to boost in the last day as people bid in desperation. I'd say go for it and maybe try to fix the leak!

If you are willing to replace it, it sounds like a good deal. I suppose if you're willing to put in the time to locate and fix the leak, go for it. Then again, it could just be something as simple as a slightly detached rubber bladder. I guess there's no way to know unless you buy it.

Yup, go for it. Funny thing is, there's no pressurized air in the CPS 2000. That means water itself is leaking out, and I'm surprised the owner hasn't noticed that leak. Maybe water is seeping through the check valves or pressure release valves back to the reservoir.

I thought they were talking about it losing air while the chamber was filled with air. While this could mean that water could leak out, it also could mean that, depending on the severity of the leak, only air leaks out. Air molecules are smaller than water and therefore would have an easier time to leak out.

Regardless, the method to find the leak it too fill it with air and submerge it in a full bathtub. Air bubbles should tell you where to go from there.

Yeah. I'll probably bid on it just for the sake of owning a cps 2000, although if it's starting to age and develop leaks, chances are there'll be more to fix in the near future.

EDIT: Has anyone tried a colossus mod on a cps 2k?
