simple homemade cps gun help

I remember the other thread too. That poster said the water tanks are used to ensure pipe doesn't crack if water freezes and expands (or in similar circumstances) and all the outlets are closed. Basically, the tanks are heavy-duty, industrial systems.

They may be good for a mounted water gun, but the tanks might be too heavy and expensive for anything else. That said, Dusty seemed to have no trouble with his backpack soaker, so it should be possible. McMaster-Carr may carry suitable items since they supply plumbers.

LRT problem solved, I'm buying it on Mcmaster carr. i am using a 2-liter bottle and a 50 oz water capacity max infusion aquapack so I think i might have a solution to the low capacaty problem. the problem is, i need to find a way to strap the coke bottle rightside up any sugjestions?

You need to strap the bottle up? Are you using the bottle for the pressure chamber case? If so, it would be easier to use it parallel to the pipe like in my SuperCPS and other CPS water gun designs.

I might be confused about your wording though, so please explain again if I am.

i am actually using it as a resivoir but that has since been given up on i am now using two camel backs connected by the hoses already on the camel backs. i am a lttl confused about how to do this. but suggestions would be helpful. please post.

Camelbacks are easy to attach. Just cut the tubing and attach that to a tubing barb. Really easy.

it's not the camelback to cph connection that's the problem, its the camelback to camel back thats the problem. I need to know how i can combine their capacities into 1 w/o a splitter or a tee.

P.S. how's the cps chamber material patent going; I expect to know as soon as its safe to tell us.

I don't know what you can use to attach both Camelbacks without a tee. You could probably make a tee from some PVC and tubing barbs, but there's no point. Just use a tee. Tees are available at just about every home improvement and hardware store.

My idea has no progress because I still have two weeks of this semester left and 4 finals in those two weeks. After that I'll look into it. Don't expect anything soon because I'd like to spend at least a few months tinkering with some different systems and writing/revising the patent application before submitting, and I have no idea how long it will take the submission to get pending status. I wouldn't expect any progress on this until next year. Once the patent application is available online and there is patent pending status, I will post about it.
