It's been about 10 days since you've last posted. It's probably safe to assume that you have updates by what you've said. Post them here when you have the time. I know I'm interested in seeing this thing in action!

He completed the project from what I know. I emailed him about it a few months ago. He said he'd post something but he never got around to it. I'll send another email.

Ok sorry for being such a procrastinator, by the end of the project in May, I was logging 18hr days for a week straight. 8 hours in the machine shop and 10 hours writing the report. When all was said and done the last thing I wanted to do was write more.

But I said I would and the project was completed (mostly) and a test firing was done (once) and it worked really well... Well too well. One of the flare fitting blew at about 80% power and sent one of my friends flying and gave him a rather large bruise. The part has been fixed but I just haven't had the time to really giver a good full distance test.

'tis a beautifully crafted water blaster! The machines metal parts and uber-sized spring are purely awe-inspiring. Of course, now I'd like to see some shot pics.

Good job on the build and thanks for sharing the pics both of the completed as well as some of the internal shots of this blaster!

Almost certainly the best-crafted homemade I've seen, and better made than a lot of stock guns I daresay.
I guess this is what happens when someone makes their engineering project a water gun.
I'm guessing it's mostly aluminium, but even so, I doubt it's going to be light. What is the empty weight, and the capacity?

Wow! I'd hate to be on the recieving end of this thing! Definitely the best made non-stock gun I've seen.Can you post some shot pics and some stats too?
