Default Pump?

I'm sure I looked it up before, but has anyone ever tried using a water pump or air compressor hooked up to a battery to pump a homemade?

And easier way would be to store all the water in pre-loaded lrt, but that gets bulky.

Recently, Buzz Bee Toys has made a few (good) electric water guns - the Scorpion and the Tarantula. The Scorpion has been discontinued (I think) in favor of pistol-sized ones, but I'm sure you can still buy it. Read the iSoaker.com reviews...decent performance, but noisy.

Falcon made a WBL that was pumped with a small 12v air compressor, powered by a lead acid battery (like a miniature version of a car battery). According to Falcon, it takes 1 minute to pump up the 2 pressure chambers on the launcher to 100psi.

Interesting. Thanks for the links. The problem with the buzz bees is it's hard to sotre a battery and pump large enough to pressurize a gun with the size of a large APH or a CPS 2000 in a short amount of time.

I have considered it, but those cheap 12V compressors have a pretty low output. Also; water + electronics = bad idea... unless of course you can properly waterproof the system. For practicality, maybe a heavy-duty footpump would be a better option? Idunno... it'd still take forever to pressurize an airtank though..
