Java and JavaScript are two different languages. Both can be used with websites, but JavaScript makes most sense for menus because it's designed to work in websites. Java on the other hand works more like Flash on websites.

Wow, its been a while since I've worked on the site, but now I have a problem that is wierd.

After force terminating my connection to my extrawater.supersoaker.org, I am unable to connect over FTP. I get this error
Quote:
Can't establish connection --> linear.apisnetworks.com:21 @ Thu Jul 24 12:13:05 2008 (10054-38)
An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.

Any ideas?

EDIT: Strangely enough, after re loading my client a few times, it decided to work.

They were probably doing maintenance or something. Ie, rebooting the server after an upgrade, maybe fixing the network, etc. Most hosting centers don't bother guaranteeing 99.99% uptime for FTP servers since the backend doesn't really matter much.

Now, the majority of the site is up and running, we just need some modification articles now... I might have to get some things from the hardware store

Your new pages look nice. I noticed a broken image though: http://extrawater.supersoaker.org/im...owjacket/3.jpg . You might want to fix that.

We should get to adding links to your reviews in our reviews.
