UserID: 976 | My brother and I have a life-long tridition of making great homemade costumes. This year was the first one that he and I did in tandom and it came out pretty well. ![]() Note the earphones, modern threads, glasses and backpack. This is what Centars would look like, if they were around today. Here is a higher resolution version for those of you who want a better view. Ben was great about doing his less-than-glamorous part in the plan. The hight difference between us allowed for both of us to both be standing straight for the costume, (rather than having the one in back bent-over). While a backpack acted as the perfect finnishing touch, to hide his head from sight.

UserID: 320 | Wow, that really is spectacular! All of my halloween costumes have been assorted mixes of ideas and never required anywhere near that much work. That certainly is quite creative.

UserID: 976 | Very nicely done! Was that your little brother playing the part of a Flood? This is a little late to be posting about, but I thought people here might also like to see my Halloween pumpkin as well. It is definitely the nastiest looking piece of pumpkin art I've yet carved. Frosty the Snowman’s Evil Twin! (Click here for a bigger image.) Rusty steel spikes in the place of buttons; Scared face; Clawed hands; Barbed-Wire hair; Rolling eyes; A slightly moldy, bitten up carrot for the nose; Spiky club beating an unfortunate victim; And the finishing touch, a rusty chain looped around his arms and middle. Won me a first-place prize for my age-group in the local pumpkin carving contest.

UserID: 576 | Nice, improvised Halo costume! Too bad you didn't have any props for weapons, though. Something with lights in it could help the effect at night. Good pumpkin creation, WaterWolf - I never really considered making a snowman-style personage using pumpkins. It's rather convincing if you're aiming for it to be similar to a snowman.
