UserID: 1 | You should at least get 5 feet more range at 30 balloons. Perhaps as much as 10 more feet of range can be obtained with 30 balloons and the right sized nozzle. Good luck with the modification! A lighter K-mod is a better idea in my opinion. ![]()

UserID: 572 | I don't want to start a new topic, so I'll bring one back (this topic was made on my birthday ).Anyway, my 35 balloon 12k managed a ~1-2' increase, and that makes me sad. What shall I do? Should I increase the balloon count? Or should I simply admire the slight boost? |

UserID: 576 | What's the stream like? If you increase the pressure too much, the stream might explode out of the nozzle with lots of turbulence. If that's the case, the water won't get very far thanks to drag. Also, the stream speed would be higher than normal for the first part of the trajectory but lower than normal for rest of the trajectory. So you could try reducing the number of balloons to improve lamination.

UserID: 572 | That does indeed make sense. The stream does explode out the nozzle, however, it doesn't look too turbulent. I'll try it anyway. Thanks! |

UserID: 1 | Experimentation is all you can do. I would suggest trying things out until you find what you like. Perhaps we should make a thread where people report ranges, number of balloons, water gun, and mark for K-modded water guns? This would give us a better idea of where ideal performance is achieved.

UserID: 572 | Alright, I took 5 balloons off, and I got a foot or so more range. AWESOME!!! (that was overflowing with sarcasm) I must summon up the energy to open the damn thing again. Opening it took so long compared to the balloon work. |

UserID: 576 | Nice . How's the stream now? Is it any more laminar?Perhaps you could test the streams with the water gun half-open. That would reduce the dullness of constantly opening it, and you'd save wearing the threads of the screws.
