Today I got a new Gateway E series computer as a christmas gift. it's got everything up to date include a CD/DVD burner, a DVD player, and 512 MB of memory! I even got a webcam to go along with it! man, did anyone else get good stuff for christmas? (im not trying to brag, so Don't think that way!)

1337. I got a laptop for my birthday, so were even. for christmas I got a bb gun, a wifi card for my laptop, a TI-89!, and an mx700 wireless mouse. (w00t!) oh yeah - and socom navy seals II+new ps2 controler.

Our computer is at the state where it almost doesn't work (ALREADY!) because of spyware, adware, dangerous files, etc, etc. We have Spybot, Norton, and the highest level security from Windows...and yet it still screws up. Me and my parents are pissed. This never happened to our Macintosh comp.

that probably means that:

a. you are wandering around shady parts of the web
b. you haven't updated spybot OR norton's definitions
c. you REALLY need to reformat

Don't forget to join a programming group! AIM me if you wanna join the one I'm in. I'm sure that they'll be happy to add a 89 programmer.

Monsoon, go to www.downloads.com and download Spybot Search and Destroy. it is free, and can help you, it helped me

also download ad-aware6 second and run it. Itll help you for sure! ^_^

Something you should also do is get Mozilla! A lot of spyway and XPBackfire-esque installs itself from pop-ups, but only in IE. Also get adware free versions of software, such as Kazaa Lite.

uhh doom - they shut down partial K mod. I know a place to get it but I won't link to it here - dmca reasons. and also, I got the latest stable tigcc, would you recommend the devel version?

You can pretty much ignore the times on that, I rarely ever have Xfire on when I play. I should, though.
