UserID: 1259 | I got the bladder tanks for 23 cents a piece, but normally they are like $50 a piece. You can get them from around $35 to $50 if you look around. Any place that sells plumbing parts will have them. I got mine at lowes, they were clearanced. Last 2. I got lucky. you can get a 5 gallon bladder tank for around $70, so if you want to save some $$ you can go a little bigger, because its gonna cost around $100 to get 2 2 gallon tanks. |

UserID: 1 | Very interesting! I was wondering who'd be the next person to get water outputs over 100X. I've never seen these chambers used before, so I'll have to add a page on our website about them. Would you mind if we used your pictures?

UserID: 1259 | The rig doesn't weigh that much empty. It prolly weighs about that full. there is a clip that shows it for a second lol. I suppose I could put it together for a clip of the 1/4 barb. I am reworking some things. When the gun is done, I am using a 3/16 barb. I want maximum blast time with it. |

UserID: 576 | The tanks aren't completely filled with water. You could figure out how full it becomes, based on the hose pressure and the pressure of the bladder, but we don't know those figures anyway. Regardless, the tank is probably 1/3-2/3 full, so there's not as much weight or output as you'd think. 3/16" barbs are probably too small to get maximum range. I'd look for something between 1/4" and 3/8" in diameter - and remember the inner diameter of the barb is going to be smaller than whatever is marked, as the marking designates the approximate outer diameter.

UserID: 1259 | well where ever it fills too its max full Hey, that's funny!. But its a small sliver of space at the top of the tanks where the air is. Its not much. On a larger tank, this space would be bigger, but in these small tanks its not. You can hear the bladder pressing against the contours of the tanks. you can feel it too, it stops right at the top. I under stand how the fittings work. The problem is that this thing exhausts its water supply very quickly even with a 1/4" barb. I know the rang will probably suffer, But I am working on a way to have multiple selections on nozzles too. I want to be able to switch to a 1/2 barb for that ultimate blast once in range LoL. Its prolly just going to be off of a T at the back of the gun that comes up a long under the gun with a ball valve. I Don't need a fancy firing mechanism for it. UserID: 1259 | I made a new video of my creation with a 3/16th barb on it. I get about a minute and a half of continuous stream. From the vid you can see it has quite a bit of force, and its loud hitting the tub surround. The stream is strong, and it gets the same range as the 1/4" barb, but it lasts longer. Needless to say, my bathroom got a bit wet even though I was spraying into the tub. http://media.putfile.com/water-cannon-test Edit: I just noticed in watching the vid, in the beginning you can see the TP moving due to the air created by the stream of water. there was a pretty good breeze in the bathroom with that thing going. |

UserID: 1350 | They make tanks like tis that can hold 100 gallons you obviously couldn't make it very portable, but once your setup you could spray down an army with just one gigantic tank. If anyone is familiar with the band GWAR ,I'm pretty sure this is what they use to power their blood cannons. |
