My friend is currently attempting to host the largest water gun fight in the world. We need we have 400 as of now, and we need 700 more to break it. It is being held in Neptune, New Jersey. If anyone would like more details, please email me at

Sounds like fun, but it might be chaotic...I probably wouldn't go for that reason. Still, there are several New Jersey-dwelling members here, so somebody might be able to go. I wouldn't count on getting more than one or two from the forums, though.

I removed the all-capitals in the title - they slow down reading and look like shouting. Regular text is more effective.

Depending on the date and time, I'd definitely go. I have a large team as well, but I'm not sure how many people would want to make the drive.

I'll totally go, or at least I'll try. Just one question: what kind of battle will this be (soakfest, 1HK, CTF)? Just want to know what the circumstances will be in which I pwn you all.

Also, you claim this will have 1100 people, and that it will be held on Neptune (New Jersey). If you pull this off, you are a god.

I said we need 1100 to break the record, last time I heard (about 2 days ago) we only had 500. As for the circumstances Im not entirely sure of the rules but count on it being some variation of CTF.

Sounds neat. I'd be interested in knowing how you organized such a large group already. Was it promoted in an already sizable group like a church? I've heard of successful water wars promoted with churches and other communal organizations.

Actually the one who organized it, his family owns the most popular bar in our area. So he went in and announced it in there, and told everyone to bring as many people as possible.

Sorry to burst your bubble but as of July 21st the new world record for the largest water gun fight will be around 6000. It's supposed to be held at park Angrignon in Montreal.

Isn't there like a huge waterfight in Thailand every year that celebrates the new year or something? I would think that would be the biggest waterfight.
