Default Pneumatic Stream Machine

hello, im new with a very good idea. (well I hope it is.you take a piston homemade like this http://www.geocities.com/m15399/piston.html
then you make a second pump end on the other end of the dowel. then you stick the other end of the dowel in a barrel the size of the piston homemade. them you hook up the barrel thats the same size of the homemade. with something that connects 2 peises of pvc the same size. them you hook up the barrel with an air chamber and a ball valve.well do you think it will work?

nice idea... but if the stream is too strong, you might blast off the end cap or shatter the PVC.
