I tend to not have much problem with allies, as I always have a better/bigger gun, so they stay within line - I am not fortunate enough to be able to join a squad, because I cannot find one, and I'm not sure how to form one - my allies tend to be the kids up the road (not decicated enough to form a squad with).

Hmm, that might be the problem. I might be looking for people who are as dedicated as me - and that's not likely. However, I need some one who doesn't say:
"Well, this is no good, you just get wet, and you can ignore it" or words to that effect - I tend not to play 1HK games.
I'm looking for people who are dedicated enough to treat their guns with care, will practise occasionally, and actually wants to make fun out of it, but take it seriously at the same time (so they will retreat if outgunned)

I can see why this is proving difficult.

On the off-topic about storage, I keep mine in within a lidded box on wheels, which slides in and out from under my bed. It's nice, but with many more soakers, I will need to experiment to find more space.
