UserID: 320 | Yes, I was able to get the valve to open completely, but this was only after making another new torque arm. I am thinking that I need to do that again as well because I keep redesigning many parts while I'm building (the new one has seems to resist closing the valve all the way, it pops open if not continuously forced closed, but nevertheless, opens all the way). Now that I think of it though, it may just need some more tinkering, but extra parts don't hurt. After seeing how many of these parts perform, it is easy to go back and make a new part that should work better than the older one (which I am going to have to do with the trigger assembly too). I am hoping that the a new trigger assembly and even newer redesigned torque arm would do the trick. 40 feet with only one layer is pretty much what I expected. Ben told me that one layer is comparable to a stock soaker, and 40 feet is good but still well within the range of stock soakers. I was more impressed with the shot time. Over 30 seconds on a convention-style soaker is almost unheard of. I was hoping to do testing with other nozzle sizes but ran out of time. 1/16" definitely is not the optimal nozzle size for range.
