After I spent about 5 hours on the site, I went down into my lab and started working on my 2700. The thing that prevents the pump from coming off was broken off completely, so I had to fix it. I used a 2L bottle cap with a hole in it to prevent the pump from coming out, and then I hot glued the thing that busted off back on. That worked pretty good. The pump is feeling kinda flimsy, so maybe later I'm going to put a dowel rod in it.
Since my 2700 was still open, I finally partially K modded it. I only had 10 balloons left, but already it's feeling a lot more powerful. It actually has kick now, and more than I expected. The range increased a lot, before with the nozzle selector off it got like 35 feet range. Now, it gets over 45 foot range. I did the "accurate" 1 stride = 3 feet method and got 63 feet. That was wrong, so I used a tape measurer and got 46 feet. I can't wait until I get more balloons, it's going to be great. I love the feeling of power in my hands.

I put a pencil in the pump this morning. Here's my plans for my 2700 now that she's working again:
Remove resivior and make an attachment for my backpack so that it directly connects to the internals
Do the entier K mod(check valve freeze, reinforced internals, 60+ balloons)
Painting
Cosmetic mod, remove unneeded plastic, ect

Anything else I didn't consider?

You could always try to attach a laser pointer, or brass the nozzle.

I don't think a laser pointer is very useful, because the stream is curved. The nozzle is so large I don't think I would need an even larger one.

What is a dowel rod? I would try putting as much balloons as possible berfore the trigger gets reallly hard to pump.

What is the pencil for? I think sixty balloons will be too much. With too many balloons the soaekr will be very hard to punp and it will be very hard to squeeze the trigger. You also might want to try rifling it.

There only are 10 balloons in. The pencil is to make sure the pump does not bend because it's taken a beating and it's not as strong as it used to be. A dowel rod is a wood stick, too.

I think a pencil is too thin too keep it from bending. I would used something thicker and more sturdy.

It fit pretty snug actually. I tried to find a pencil that fit nice in it, and I did.

2500's don't NEED a colossus mod to have kick, ain't that right jade?

Im not too familiar with the Collossus Mod :blink: I'd like to learn bout it though.

I guessin yeah, without it The 2500 did give a nasty sting after I shot someone with it :Hey, that's funny.:

colossus mod is like a k mod for piston-based cps guns. it doesn't work so well on the 2500, but it's perfect for the 2000, 3000, and 3200.

Why doesn't it work well on the 2500? Is that because the chamber is too small?
