Hey everyone - new member here.

Just thought I'd share a fictional account of a super soaker war.

This war was the guys vs the ladies.

For the guys we had me, Rob, Ken, Matt and Jarrett and for the ladies we had Rachel, Meg, Carrie, Veronica and Jackie.

This was a game of 'soakertag' so once your tag was gone your out. It took place on a paintball field. Each player had the soaker of his/her choice.

The game started with Jackie moving into a forward bunker for the ladies, and Matt and Rob moving forward for us. Unfortunately Jackie made it into the bunker before Matt did and Matt got soaked. However, he didn't lose his tag and was able to get to a bunker and return fire. Jackie quickly motioned to Rachel to move forward to cover her, and Rachel opened fire on Matt as well, this time blasting off his tag. He was out.

Rob managed to get into his bunker a few feet from Jackie and was able to soak her while Rachel took out Matt. Rob completely emptied his soaker on Jackie, eliminating her. He then quickly backed out with cover from Ken.

As Rob retreated Rachel emptied her soaker on him, but was unable to eliminate him and was forced to retreat as well..

As Rob and Rachel both retreated, Meg made a quick run up the flank and managed to get into a bunker a few feet from me and open fire on Ken. Carrie came up the middle as well, also soaking Ken. Despite his best efforts, he was knocked out.

Following Ken's elimination, I got into a fierce firefight with Meg, and we both were soaked. However, As I almost ran dry I finally got her tag...She was gone.

I then attempted to retreat with Jarrett's cover but was soaked by Carrie. My soaker finally ran dry, and she eliminated me, and Jarrett took her out.

At this point Veronica and Rachel both move forward for the ladies, and Rob comes back forward for us.

Jarrett manages to hold back the ladies, but eventually his soaker runs dry and he is eliminated just as Rob gets there. Rob is able to soak Rachel this time, and she is out.

Veronica and Rob both empty their soakers on one another, and Veronica gets Rob's tag...The ladies won

Interesting.

I never do anything like that, mostly because the other girls round here are not up for that kind of thing, save one or maybe two.

Besides - I got over gender stereotyping years ago.

Although this fight never actually took place, it should was close...

Hey Joanna would you be up for joining the ladies side for a rematch?

I am going to have to make it a little clearer to the casual reader - I nearly missed it. This is fictional.

Welcome to Super Soaker Central, cdingman! Were you at a different soaker forum before this?

It's an interesting read, but maybe the next one could have more in terms of battlefield "obstacles" and cover. Also, you could describe what weapons each person used and maybe add some water balloons since it's just for fun...

Also, if you're interested in writing fictional water gun stories, you could join RP III. Keep up the good work!

Ok Joanna - its time for a rematch Hey, that's funny!

Before I start this is an illustration of the battlefield:

Ok - now Joanna you can join the ladies team and Brian will join our team making it 6 on 6.

For the guys I had an XP 310, Ken had a CPS 1000, Matt had a CPS 2000, Rob had a Max D 4000, Jarrett had a Triple Aggressor and Brian had a SS 100.

For the ladies, Joanna had am XP100, Meg had a Triple Aggressor, Carrie had a Vaporizer, Rachel had a liquidator, Veronica had a CPS 2000 and Jackie had a CPS 1500.

Here is an illustration of how the game started:

Now the first move for us was for Rob to move up to a forward bunker and for me to move into a bunker behind him.

For the ladies Meg and Rachel both moved up, leaving the field looking like this:

Rob came under fire from both Meg and Rachel, but I was able to cover.

As Rob came under fire Brian made a move up for us and Joanna moved up for the ladies.

As Joanna moved up she managed to take out Brian and at the same time I manage to tag Meg, eliminating her. Rachel then moves up, into our territory.

but before Rachel is able to get into the bunker Rob soaks her, and as she continues she is eliminated.

Several players on both sides move up, and Jarrett and Ken square off against Carrie and Joanna.

As this occurs, Rob moves up and gets eliminated. Jackie moves up to square off against me.

As the battle continues, Jarrett and Joanna are both eliminated, and Matt moves up:

Next Jackie tried to move up, but was quickly gunned down by Ken, and was eliminated. Carrie and Veronica move up.

Next I moved up into the bunker alongside Carrie. I make it safely despite taking a soaking. I quickly engage in a firefight with her, and eventually am eliminated.

Matt and Ken both push forward in a bonzai charge, and Ken manages to tag Carrie taking her out. Ken and Matt both quickly concentrate fire on Veronica.

Veronica manages to eliminate Matt but is quickly taken out by Ken.

This time the guys win

Arr, and I got eliminated.

Next time I need to bring Vertigo or Exorcist - then we'll see what happens.

I can't help but laugh whenever I hear the name "Veronica". That is the name of my team's second Douchenator.

How many Douchenators do you have? I'm still trying to find the rest of the parts for mine. The Home Depot near me ran out of the one item before I could buy it?

I never do anything like that, mostly because the other girls round here are not up for that kind of thing, save one or maybe two.
