As with all CPS soakers today, the CPS 1500 (an excellent soaker, no less) is out of production and off the shelves of toy stores. People now pay premium prices to get them off eBay, although you might have some luck getting one from local people who don't know about its value and who are letting it gather dust, from local garage sales, or from large-scale sites such as Freecycle. Actually, I haven't seen a CPS 1500 on eBay yet--and I wouldn't get any soaker there due to the high prices. That's why I'm into homemades--more power, less money.

Instead of the above limit dodging, you could have happily posted when you had seen it, and how much it was auctioning for at the time.

It seems the prices for a CPS 1500 can vary quite wildly. This one went for just £17.13, whereas this one went for £52.00. Both were used. It is worth noting, though, that at the same time that the £17.13 CPS 1500 was on, there was also the distraction of a Monster X.
