Default Favorite XP Guns!

I would just like to know what kind of XP gun people prefer. So could you name them please? Only one choice!

Thanks,

By the way mine is the XP-310

I like my XP 270, and it's the only XP gun that I own. It's seen a couple of repairs, it probably leaks a bit, and its stream breaks up horribly, but I still don't mind using it.

my favorite is also the xp 310. I like it because it is not to heavy and has a good selection of nozzles and I have two of them.

My favorite is the XP 310. With the choice of nozzles, it easily beats the others. That was an easy one.

XP 110 for me. I just can't resist the sting on it.

Mine is the XP 150 all the way. It beats the XP 310 any day in terms of range, output, nozzle size, and capacity. However, my XP 150 is leaking due to a faulty O-ring in the pump shaft. It still works though. I also own an XP 310. That one, too, is leaking at the pump (there seems to be a strange pattern going on). I shotgun modded my XP 310, so it's mainly a last resort/backup blaster for me.

The XP 310 is extremely overrated. The Max-D 6000 has better distance. Even still, the XP 150 has better distance, less pumps, a larger PC, and more output. Of course, the XP 150 only has one nozzle, but that doesn't matter much in that water gun.

What do I think is the best? The SS/XP 300 beats every other water gun of the era hands down. Great design not only in 1993, but even now. Good output, great PC size, large pump, good looks, great distance (Drenchenator's got over 50 feet), and a backpack to top it all off. The only way it could have got better would have been the addition of a nozzle selector.

My personal favorite is the XP300, although I've never actually seen a real one. I love backpack soakers.

Just ordered an XP250, can't wait to see what I think of it.

The SS/XP 300 and XP 150 would be my choices. However, the best that I actually have access to is an XP 310, which is not bad due to the lack of those other higher choices. The myth that an XP 310 can hold against a CPS 2500 is real, although it is more effective against mid/lower-class CPS guns such as 2100s. But a gun like an SS/XP 300 would be an excellent match for a large CPS.

The iSoaker.com review states about 1.5L of PC capacity, shared between the three PCs, for the XP 300--and I completely believe it. With that capacity, and with a backpack, you could say that the XP 300 approaches APH-like performance. It's even got the range and the output, which isn't too bad either...

It's a shame you never hear about the old XP line.

My personal favorite is the SS 300. I bought one off of eBay and I would definitely say that it is the best XP soaker. With 50 feet of range and a high capacity, it just can't be beat. It also has a high volume pump and 3 pressure chambers. I just can't think of a better non-CPS soaker.

My favourite XP water gun would have to be the XP 110.

Ooh, tricky one.

I'm going to have to say the XP 75 - the riot blast was incredible, and the basic nozzle was good as well. And it was the first true XP - I think.

I will say XP 300. While I have three SS300s, I actualy never saw an XP 300 and personaly I think it only exists as a prototyp depicted on the early XP boxes and that was it. Seriously, no XP 300 in retail, ebay or whatever. Then again, its just a SS300 recolour. What many don't know perhaps is, that the SS 300 is designed and build like an XP soaker. 1993 was the transition year anyways. The SS 300 mainblaster is actual more robust than some later XPs. So the fragileness of the SS300 is purely the lever trigger, but even if that breaks, you can still use it. Its always better if the fragile stuff is cosmetic and not internal.

As for an actual XP, I will probably vote XP 150 Mk.1, that is if you get one that is not damaged. I don't care if it only has 2 nozzles(2X and riot). Compact raw power for its small size. What do you want more. I don't need a multiple nozzle selector for 1X or 0.5X.
"Would you like an XP 150?" - "No Sir! I got to have that 0.5 X nozzle! How dare you accuse me of accepting the lack of a 0.5X nozzle. We are not barbarians."
