I have never opened a Super Soaker XP 105 before, but you likely will have to saw off that piece somehow (if the piece is not threaded). That is most likely a cap designed to make opening the water gun difficult. You should saw it horizontally until you can remove it. Be sure to be careful - you do not want to damage the water gun's important parts such as the PC and the connections to the PC.

Try a few things out if this method doesn't work. You might just have to pry the cap off. Let us know if you get your water gun opened too. This information will help someone out later.

Never opened mine. Bought for 2 quid at some garage sale and shotgun modded it.
