UserID: 75 | I have to get to school at 7:30, but Don't get home until 3:30. I am a freshman as well. the buses only serve people living 2 miles away from school and I live 1.9, so no bus rides. If I can't get a ride, I have to walk through town. We have several outdated textbooks, as unlike Doomsoaker's school, I Don't even think my school has 7 million to spend. [My Bio book is the only new one.] Since class sizes are huge [1570 students attend Ridgewood High], assignments are expendable. Teachers often have 3 or more projects due the same day.

UserID: 90 | I get a fair amount of the stuff but I finish 90% in study hall/the library. If you go to the library everyday for lunch, and study hall is everyother day you wind up with shockingly little of the godforesaken stuff. Here's my rant about my math teacher. This year they hired a new teacher. Now then Mr. T will spend 30 minutes going over the hw. Now why does it take so long. Because he stares at us for a good and long time. Watching and watching. The guy is young enough to be my science teachers kid. Here's the crowning jewel though. Since there are only ten minutes left in the periodd and he has to teach 20 minutes of stuff he tries to cram. Now he still only fits half of it in and we wind up not noing what to do. This leads to the homework (and punishment work due to not finishing the lesson) immpossible to do. This leads to really long reviews the next day. We're in a long vicious cycle which makes no sense. This goes on until we have a test. The day before he gives out review sheets. We do these at home and bring them in the next day. Of course being we don't know how to do the math therre is only a 50% chance that we did them right. Of course we will never know this because prior to reviewing the sheets we get a test. Here comes the reason his we all don't fail his tests. Get this after we all fail the test (he knows it) he hands them back out. here's an example. On wendsday we get a review sheet. On thursday we get a test which we all bomb. Mr. T. not wanting to appear as a bad teacher hands the tests back on friday. We complete the tests after we knew exactly what to study that night and wind up with 80's. This is math a on the smartest team. Last year we all got hundreds. However teachers like Mr. T cripple us and prevent us from reaching our full potential. (I can get carried away the guy is so annoying) note: you should rate your teachers too its fun |

Hey look, my bike! And before I know it, I'm riding my bike around the neighborhood with my friends shooting each other with soakers. So that's why I don't do my homework. It's a miracle how I keep up a B+/A- average! :Hey, that's funny.:

UserID: 1 | In most school districts, homework can be at most 10% of your grade. I know it's that way in mine at least.
