Hey everyone

Im kmodding a cps 1000 and im thinking of using rubber bands to aid the pressure release (double or triple banding the elastic around the PC), as I won't be using more than 30 balloons anyways, even though I'll check valve freeze (don't want to blow the soaker up). What do you guys think?

Don't bother about the plastic bands - people have tried them before with no real success. Stick to balloons.

Don't forget to use the spellchecker as well. It's "I'm" not "Im".

Anyways, I was wondering if the check valve part that I have to saw off (for the check valve freeze) is the part that I've given the brackets to in the pictures. Can anyone help out?

Yup, the area there is where you saw. That whole section can actually be cut. Good luck.

"That whole section"? Do you mean the branch leading down, to the right of the part that I marked the saw marks? Or would it be better just to cut what I've marked?

The areas I marked off in red is the area I would cut. Once you cut that middle section, the section that brings it up that way isn't needed anymore, so I always cut it off too.

Uh oh, I found a small spring in the part cut off. :S. Does this mean anything?

Well, it means that the check valve was actually working. All check valves have a spring in them, well at least I believe most of them do. Don't worry about what ever was in that part. It is normal.

^ My CPS 2700's check valve was only a small rubber slice. I believe the elasticity of the rubber was what made it work. It should be safe to say that most of the check valves that you will cut out will have a spring in them however.
