The Splash Fire is a Piston Series. The trigger on it is fake.

you can't really get lubricant down the pump shaft without opening it...you need to put it on the o-ring...and you could just have something jamming up the insides..

But the Splash Fire is the only gun in my arsenal that does this and I have heard that this type of problem can be repaired.

The Pressure that forces water out the gun.

OK...does water come out when you pump it?
does it become hard to pump when you're pulling it out, pumping it in, or both?

From what I see, the SplashFire is a track-mounted pump, so what I would do, is remove all screws on the Pump Handle, and take it off. Then get a picture of the side WITH the screws so I can see what I have to do next.

BTW there is a little something called... THE FORUM RULES.

the screws on guns can't be in places where it goes through a pipe or something, so if you use just the right size drill bit and be VERY CAREFUL it should go fine...that's what I did on my MXL...

But I'm a klutz! Don't have other solutions?

Yes perilous, I did read your post, when I post I try to start with a general summary like a good writer and then get to the root of the problem so others know what I am talking about. Other than redrilling holes, taping the soaker or leaving a few screws out, I can't really put this in a polite way.. your gun is screwed. As Hunter has suggested through the AOL-like conversation posted here, see what he can do with it. Other than that, there is no other solution. -_- Racer is correct, again I urge you to read the FORUM RULES before I or the staff of SSC takes action.

Cool

I don't need any more advice on fixing my Splash Fire because I accidently fixed it. After the failed attempt to lubricate the pump track, I tried washed to wash the lubricant off the gun and most of the lubricant got washed into the gun's inner works and lubricated whatever was causeing the problem. Like I said, I don't need anymor advice on fixing the Splash Fire.
