UserID: 131 | Backpack soaker, no. Backpack, yes. I find it useful to have a backpack with extra water, water balloons and other things you may need during a war. It may weigh you down a little bit, but I find it's not that bad as long as you're in shape, which I am currently working on. :P

UserID: 272 | I too use a regular hiking backpack instead of a water backpack. I enjoy having water balloons and my portable shield on me more so than just a little extra water.

UserID: 255 | I null-voted, because for me it really does depend on the situation and not a lot else. In a large battle, or if you're outnumbered, a backpack soaker is better so you don't need to refill as much. On the other hand, in a fast-paced, smaller battle there is no way a backpack soaker can help you. Backpack soaker/reservoir soaker is a big question, but will probably never be answered definetly.

UserID: 480 | Old thread but worth saving. I've only owned one backpack watergun before. I use that loosely because it was a relitively unknown head-mounted, voice controled Super Soaker. But the only thing I have now with a backpack is my APH. I don't really know which way to vote. Additional: Wouldn't make more sence to call a Homemade AP a "HAP". You can pronounce that easy. If it has to be APH you could pronounce it as "af". |

UserID: 1 | I pronounce each letter individually: APH as A-P-H, as I do for others such as CAP. Though, I actually prefer the words "homemade water gun", but that's not descriptive enough! Constant air pressure homemade water gun, Constant pressure water gun, etc is how I really prefer to say things, though the common word is APH and CPH (which must be learned, one reason why I prefer the more descriptive words). Does anyone feel this is good enough for Pick of the Best? Maybe we should go through and find some more great threads again.

UserID: 203 | I usually would prefer to have a backpack, even if it's fairly small. To me having a backpack is not a case of water capacity, but taking the weight off the gun, and essentially off your arms too. |

UserID: 470 | I perfer a backpack. But what if you made a homemade that came with 2 resiviors a (8 liter backpack and a 3 liter resivior). Then you could decide witch one you would want to use, depending on what type of fight it is and your personal preference. |

UserID: 481 | I prefer guns without backpacks. It just seems to add more mobility for me (considering I'm a heavy person, thats a big plus) and I don't have to worry about how much is left in it, if theres a leak anywhere, worrying about it getting caught on something, and especially draining it. |

UserID: 470 | I to am a big person but i can run fairly quickly even with a heavy backpack. Besides i just like the extra shots per tank a backpack gun gives you.

UserID: 346 | I prefer no backpack. It weighs me down in a battle and since the battles I have are fast moving its a pain running around with a heavy hard piece of plastic bashing on your back (excluding the Aquapak Devastator and CPS 3000 which I don't own). I just prefer using CPS 1500's, 2500's .etc. ![]() |

UserID: 470 | If you had a cps 3000 running with it would be a bad idea because the straps will break. Thats why i like the 3200 more and i perfer a backpack because i hate having to run to the hose for a refill every 5 minutes.

UserID: 351 | I'd rather have a decent gun capacity and no backpack. Guns with backpacks are useless to me anyway since I picked an SC Power Pak up.

UserID: 615 | i voted for no, because, if you get a good enough gun, there is no need for a back pack. I have a storm typhoon force 2 which i mostly use, it hasn't got a massive tank, but its so acurate and powerful i don't need one. I have people retreating before i run out! ![]()
