This question has been asked about 20 times, and if you just check some old topics you would have found the answer. On the Mark I you just twist it off, on the Mark II and III you have to cut it off.

Er..Marks 1 and 3 you can just twist it off. The Mark 2 is the only one you have to saw/cut off. This question has been asked and answered so many times in the past and is even answered in one of the pinned topics in this forum!

Take a flat head screwdriver and shove it under the pump cap. Apply lots of pressure and eventually it will slowly come off. As a side not, when I put the pump cap back on I Don't push it on all the way to where it's tight as before. That way you don't have to take out the screwdriver again. B)
