This idea was being planned at Water Talk, but kinda died out. So I think we could get more progress with the idea here. Aquatica once gave out awards to sites in several categories. I think we should resume site awards because they would help small sites gain traffic and status as well as help spur growth and new sites. Soakerdom-wide awards would in addition renew the drive to make your site better, instead of closing it down in disgust due to bigger sites. At Water-talk Veteran and Trekkie00 were nominated to head the reviewing committee, and that's where things left off. If you guys want to resume site awards, a few more people could make nominations and we could form a committee for the awards.

As a matter of fact, we have been discussing such an idea very recently, and were close to revealing the idea to the general public. We may as well now, I'll make a new topic to deal with this in the way we were planning.
