UserID: 213 | Is there anyone here who has collected/is collecting Pokemon cards? I used to. I have several rare cards, including a 2nd Edition Charizard Holofoil, 2nd Edition Beedril (which I can never play because I don't have a Weedle), fossil Raichu holofoil, 2nd Edition Clefairy holofoil, Forest Clefable, 1st Edition Machamp Holofoil (got it in a starter deck, still perfect condition - never removed from wrapper!), fossil Muk, Brock's Onix, Electabuzz, fossil Labras, and several rare trainer cards. I also have the Electabuzz, Dragonite, and Mewtwo promo cards from "Pokemon: The First Movie". I also have several Italian, French, and German cards ,once including a 1st Edition "Glurak". Try to find out what that card is! Here's a clue: I sold it for $175. I don't still collect them, but I'm still holding on to them. Maybe in a few decades they'll be popular again. ![]()

UserID: 1 | I have 1500 - 2000 Pokemon cards. Last year two of my friends gave me their entire collections. I have long been aware of Pokemon strategy but never was very able to play a winning deck until last year. I play a Wiggly/Haymaker mix (and occaisonally stall and my own Mr. Mime/Lt. Surge's Raticate deck). If I find my deck I'll post it's containing cards.

UserID: 131 | I stopped collecting a LONG time ago. Maybe 5 years ago. I have over 50 halo's I think. Including a 2nd (rare) edition Charizard. I stopped collecting because after a while I realized that it was just stupid to keep collecting.

UserID: 75 | Ah, pokemon. I wish I had sold out years ago, when the cards were worth something. I have a lot including 300 energy cards that I use to build cardhouses [they have no real other use]. My most unusual card is a Tsubotsubo, a "real" fake with 420 hit points. It's the most convincing fake card you'll ever see. It's a shame the fad had to die out right as I had amssed a ton of rare cards. Name almost any rare/holographic card and I probably have it in some form. I also once had 3 Ancient Mews which were incredibly rare.

UserID: 213 | No, it wasn't a Blastoise. I was lucky I got it. The pack cost about $12, but I think I got my money's worth out of it. :P

UserID: 1 | Well...found my cards and did a count. 1006 total, that figure likely isn't exact though. Overestimation at it's best. It still does seem that they're pouring our of the seams, even though I have most of the unused ones organized in a binder. I have 68 stars (rares) that I can find (half of them holographic), two ancient Mew (both the US and UK/International versions), several first edition French cards and so on. I suppose my collection is worth several hundreds of dollars if I sell them at the right place, though, I really don't care. When I find the time I'll post my good deck -- it wins for me more times than not and is fairly good for how much I paid for it. It's good that I could obtain so many cards (half my collection) for free.
