The PS3 will undoubtebly put the Xbox, and gamecube out of buisness. Permantly. The ps3's proscessor will be 1,000 times more powerful than the PS2's(400mhz) prossesor. The graphics will just totally own all. That means that it will have Procession close to 400,000 GHZ..

I don't mean to argue, but please remember Xbox is completely upgradable, meaning that Xbox will continue to grow stronger and stronger, without paying so much for a brand new system.....But over 1000 times? what is PS3 going to be? Hey, that's funny., a computer? :Hey, that's funny.:

Considering all consoles are basically "computers-in-a-box" they will forever be limited to whatever the most powerful thing the computer industry could put out at the time the console was being made. Due to the development time required for consoles, technically their graphics are already outdated by the time they are released, considering the pace the computer industry advances at. Have you even bothered to look at Doom 3 and Half-Life 2 (OMFG)?

doom 3 is a joke doom 2 was good for its time but doom3 sucks id soft where need to get there heads out of there a*s and make some better games :angry: :blink: :unsure: :yikes: <_<

note a cpu rnning at 4terahertz will get higher then 5000 centergrade try cooling that off so that speed is to fast at this time we Don't know how to make them runn cool enough to go that fast

fortunately for us resolution in 3d objects is measured different from resolution on your tv.
thatd be funny to see a tv with resolution measured in polygons

EDIT: then again you're talking about POSSIBLE awesome graphics, if you play a game with bad graphics on a sweet system, its still the same graphics.
btw the new Dell Precision Workstation 650 has 2 3.06 GHZ CPUs with Hyper Threading, meaning its a virtual quadro CPU system. It also has a ATI FireGL E1 dual-display card.

You know that before Budgie was bought by Microsoft, pretty much all of their games were made for Mac. And once their bought by Microsoft, it's all for Microsoft. Oh yeah, everyone buy a XBox, because I heard that Microsoft loses $50 for every one sold.
