I really like several Paul Simon songs, including Diamonds On The Soles Of Her Shoes, 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, and Still Crazy After all these years. He has a style unique to himself which doesn't seem to age.

Yeah if you compare the legendary, most inlflential and popular rock band to some squeaky voiced gothic poser band that is GC you shouldn't even listen to music.

I shouldnt like music just because I Don't like the same band as you? I Don't like the sound of the beatles. I like heavy metal, and some rap. "OMfg neither of those take any talent! Its just screaming into the mic".I would like to see the beatles try that. It takes a lot of training to be able to sing like a heavy metal singer without your voice going out. Have you ever heard any heavy metal guitar solos? I would like to see the beatles try something that fast.

I love Led Zepplen and Queen. Thats all I really have to say. Oh yeah and my two FAVORITE songs are "Another One Bites The Dust" and "Stairway To Heaven" and whoever said heavy metal sucks.........well.............yeah........
CoughHackYouSuckCough

EDIT: Oh yeah and you know what's weird?.........They both have supposed subliminal messages in them.

anyone here like ICP? I freakin love them. They are hilarious. I Don't like they're new album, Hasbro HQ's pit, its a little to gory. You guys need to DL "Eminem is gay" by ICP (its pretty explicit if your young)

Haha, have you ever listened to Helter Skelter by the Beatles? That song was one that helped INVENT heavy metal.

Plus, any musician knows that musical talent has nothing to do with how fast you can play things. FYI, more than 99.9% of all guitar solos are easy to play if you are good at solos. It is harder to play something accurately and slow than fast.

About ICP, I think they should just calm down. They got voted somewhere to be the most pointless band ever. Their music is just way too explicit for me, it's not music but shock at that point.

Heavy Metal was invented by Black Sabbath.

I won't go into the arguement of who invented heavy metal, it really was invented simultaneously by several different bands and no one knows for sure which one was first. I just was saying that Helter Skelter helped invent it, it isn't heavy metal, just very similar.

Yeah, I doesn't really matter either way.

Sure it takes talent, but why would you want to listen to someone sound like a dying bullfrog for an hour and a half?

Beatles - Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (Reprise)
Dire Straits - Sultans of Swing
Gershwin - Old Man River
Fats Domino - Shake, Rattle and Roll

A bit diverse, eh? :Hey, that's funny.:
