Very nice, maybe some day I might try something like that. For now I'll stick to below 70 balloons. :P

Eventually you get used to it and other guns feel weak.

Yes, unfortunately I have become so used to modified power that anything that shoots less than 50ft. feels very weak indeed. Even a k-modded gun under 65 balloons would feel weak to me. For k-modding, Nibor and I have determined the optimal amount of balloons to use to maximize the potential power you can get. [On CPS 2100's only] Pushing the limits of modding teaches you things. For example, more balloons doesn't always equal more power. If you want the most power you can get from your k-mod, use 65-80 balloons. 60 and under doesn't maximize range, while more than 80 is just too much. My 90-balloon 21K can only hold 9 pumps worth of pressure, there is just no room for the pc to expand. Even if it could hold more, I would bet that valves would start bursting. Anyway, 65-80 balloons will get you the most power out of your k-mod. But that's on a 2100, I would not use 80 on a 2700!

I wonder how many one could squeeze onto a CPS 1500.

Has anyone worked out the optimum balloons to use on a CPS 1000 or a CPS 1200?

It should be the same as a CPS 2100. They are very similar. In fact it probably is the same for most CPS guns.

150! Are you sure? If he was able to get that many on to the PC, I HIGHLY doubt he could put that thing back into the casing. I bet he wouldnt have been able to get off 1 pump. And all that pressure would surely be WAY too much for a super soaker. What super soaker did Xn first try this on?

A CPS 1200, and then another time on a CPS 1000. I think he used like 60, but the only way to know is to ask him (or go and dig up some old topics).

Err... it definitely wasn't 150, BV. Probably more like 40. xN wasn't as crazy as some of you modders out there.

dang, I was going to say that. I reckon you could get 100 into a 1500 and be able to make full use of the PC.

(BTW, off topic, can anyone think of any way I can increase the power/range of my XP310? It's been XPSed until it barely fits into the casing, which, sadly, is only 5 balloons per PC, I've given it a nozzle drill which works as a fan spray and I've painted it military green for camouflage. Any ideas?)

EDIT - Why can I not say d-a-m-n? It gets changed to dang automatically... <_<

From what I've seen and heard, it's almost impossible to get 100 on the PC of a 1500. And I think that you would probably break it if you tried it. Placing 67 balloons on my 2700 nearly killed it. The power is WAY to powerful.

You could do a PR Freeze...

You can't say D/-\ /\/\ |\| because it is in the word filter.

You could do a CVF. The XP-310 isnt PR. I've done it and it gave me about 5 feet with a few more pumps. Don't pump any more past the end of the pressure guage. Just one, maybe two pumps more than normal. The tigger valve sucks, so it can't take much. However I do recommend it. Its probably the easiest gun to CVF. The article on soakthis.com about CVFing, the pics are a XP-310 incase you Don't know which valve to cut. Also, try to drill a large nozzle, it gives you a awesome shotgun blast.

Also be aware of the CVF article here at SSCentral. I am yet to release my revision to it, I have completely rewritten it by breaking it down into parts, it now explains it much better for all guns.

I was going to do a CVF, but I'm worried I might mess it up trying... It's got a fan-spray nozzle, I drilled nozzle 2 with a 3mm drill bit and now it works like the Max-D SS. I never used nozzle 2 before, so it's quite a useful mod. Because the reservoir is smashed, it could maybe do with a PC expansion. Anyone got any ideas on what/how I could do that?

EDIT - Oh yeah, and the trigger valve is total XPBackfire-esque. It just sprays half-open when pumping until there's enough pressure to hold it shut. And it overcharges FAR TOO MUCH. So a CVF is not the best idea until I can reinforce the trigger valve. (any ideas on that, people?)
