UserID: 75 | Topics about k-modding are clogging up the tech forum. When someone wants to mod, is modding, or has finished a k-mod, they post a new topic. Its annoying, please from now on use this topic for posting the results of your k-mod or if you have questions about one. If your k is breaking, that's different, feel free to make a new topic for that. I finished a 21000 today. MK3, has great range and power. Haven't got stats yet, maybe I'll get some tomarrow. It does get 8 shots per tank. <EDIT> Notice how we skip over the pinned topics? We are all guilty, you know it. :P

UserID: 113 | OK, I've got a Mk.2 CPS2100, and I've unscrewed everything, and I sawed the pumpcap. However, the area around the nozzle is still stubbornly closed. I was told it was the trigger pivot valve, and I should wiggle the two gun halves until it separated. I've been doing that for a while, but nothing has happened. Any advice? EDIT: Wait, I'm not sure it's a Mk. 2.

UserID: 1 | Take a picture and maybe we could help. My 2100 had no trouble with the nozzle at all, in fact I've completely redone the main nozzle so I can select it now. Then again I am pretty good at this stuff, so it probably was just me.

UserID: 113 | Attached is a picture of the nozzle area. It seems the nozzle cap is preventing the two sides from opening. All the screws have been taken out (though two seem to be stuck, but they have been unscrewed almost completely).

UserID: 131 | Ah. I hated this with Dux's second 21000. The nozzle from the outside is actually fake. You might have to crack the nozzle in half to get it open. Ill get a pic up as soon as I can. The nozzle from the outside is actually part of the casing. once you crack it in half it does nothing to the gun. Edit: are you sure its and MK2? Other wize it may be something else.

UserID: 1 | Mine is completely different! I even modified the nozzle, and it looks like it would have been much easier to do on the mk2.

UserID: 131 | The MK2 is a female dog to mod. Trust me Doom. Don't say that. The MK2 took hours to open. It gave me a head ache and Dux was lucky to even get it back modded. I hate the MK2. The one thing good about the MK2 is it has great power after being K-modded.

UserID: 113 | Great Power, eh? I put just 15 balloons in (9") and I tested it. I didn't get the range (tested against a wall), but the dumb thing supported less than 2 pumps! And there seemed to be a lot of water remaining in the tubing. Less than half a second shot time. I'm pretty mad, it was agony opening this thing. Anyway, does the CPS2100 have a low HPL or something, cause I expected it to carry many more pumps with much better shot time than this. I didn't do a check valve freeze (don't want to either).

UserID: 75 | Check to see if the pc is on all the way. Someone posted in another topic that their 21000 couldn't support many pumps and found out that the pc wasn't even all the way on. The MK2 does have great power, with a 65-70 balloon mod and check valve freeze. A partial mod will give it a little kick, but don't expect much. If everything is connected properly the 21000 should get up to 15 pumps. <EDIT> spelling

Are you sure? You usually can pump at least 10 times. I think you might want to switch to 12 inch balloons. That might have something to do with it. Also, checkvalve freezing is neccesary if you're planning to do a full K-mod.

UserID: 131 | Both me and Dux are doing 90 balloon K-mods to CPS 2100's. Maybe 100 if we have enough balloons. We'll tell you about it when we finish it tomorrow. Edit: Sorry for the double post. I didn't notice until I made this post.

UserID: 83 | After K modding my 1200(0) with 60 balloons, my trigger valve was impossible to pull open, eventually, the little plastic thing that pulls the valve open broke into 5 pieces(sp?), then we opened the gun up and the PC came flying out of the gun, we were saying "Now how do we fix this?" So we made a trip down to Ace Hardware and found part of a gate hinge that fit perfectly into the spot where the plastic thing was, all we had to do was drill a few holes and bend the metal hinge to fit in place. So now we have a pretty much indistructable trigger puller thing made out of steel. Once I get pictures next week, I will reccomend everyone doing this. Although the trigger does get stuck every now and then.
