UserID: 131 | My computer won't log me onto my user file. It says that the user file has gone missing or is unreadable. so what it does is it makes a temporary file where everything I do is gone when I sign off. Can someone help me cause im getting really pissed off. :angry:

UserID: 147 | What OS are you using. XP? Also, try checking all your directories for your files which were on your desktop. XP creates a folder (usually, dpeends if you want it) which holds all your desktop items, and puts it in your main drive, I Think, C:\ by default. Also, a virus could've deleted this, or some update. The worst condition is probably if you're using IE6 as it has a... HUGE GAPING SECURITY HOLE. I use Mozilla Firefox now. I think you could have the problem because of that. If all else fails, create a new user. If that gets a rpoblem, then ask someone else. The final answer is the REFORMAT. It kills your hardrive, but it fixes your comp's status, 99% of the time. Thats gotta suck man....
