UserID: 17 | I got my SS 40 back in 1994 and I've been collecting ever since. My aunt gave it to me on Independence Day that year. It hasn't had one thing go wrong and it can still hold its own, even against Max-Ds.

UserID: 261 | Hello all. This is my first post and I figured it'd be a good place to let my presence be known. When the first soakers came out, I kept begging my mom to buy me one. Finally she broke down after summer was over, and gave me $30 to buy soakers. I'm glad she put up the fight for so long because Target was having a huge sale to get rid of their summer toys. I walked home with an SS100, an SS200, 2 SS50s for sidearms, and 2 belts that had 2 refill tanks each. The neighborhood kids only had SS 50s and some decent off-brand guns, so I was the reigning king of our water wars. I later bought an CPS2000 when they came out, but I returned it for an XP275. Dumb move considering how much they fetch on Ebay, but it wasn't my style. I was all about endurance, and the CPS2000 gave me 2 beefy shots and that was it. Those guns all got tossed out when my dad cleaned the garage, and now I have an original SS50 limited edition, a liquidator, and a hydroblade. The new guns are nice and all (I love the triggers), but I still miss my old SS200. |

UserID: 237 | My first gun was a Speedloader Powersurge 2500. It's still one of my best guns, and can hold its own in any waterfight due to the fact that it empties its entire p/c in about 5 seconds. I'd recommend picking one up if you can find one. Adrian |

UserID: 265 | This is my first message in this board, so hello to everybody! My first one was an unidentified Stats Splash, and the second my personal favourite, the CPS 1200.

About your post, what exactly do you mean by "an unidentified Stats Splash"? I take it you mean a non-Super Soaker-brand blaster. The CPS 1200 is good (I have one) and probably qualifies as your first actual Super Soaker if the other one is indeed generic. ![]()

UserID: 255 | My first soaker was an XP110, when I was about 7. I absolutely LOVED it, but it got smashed somehow. Still looking for a new 110 now, but I'll make do with my XP310 and Max-D 6000. ![]()

UserID: 270 | I just got into water guns, so my first gun may sound pretty sad. A vaporizer. Yes I know, kinda depressing. |

UserID: 255 | Yup, that is very sad. And depressing. You shoulda got a Liquidator at least if you wanted an ST. The XP110 or the XP310 are about the best soakers for starting out.

UserID: 113 | My first was a XP240. I got it as a double pack, with the $5 mail-in rebate. It impressed me until I got a CPS 2100, which is going to get half K-Modded (20 balloons). I didn't want to reinforce the internals or freeze the check valve. Then again, the best competition I have around here is a Pirahna, as a main weapon.
