UserID: 178 | I want one of those but I'm not sure which one since they are so similar. Also is 30 bucks worth it for the Splashzooka (that includes a shipping price)? Quick response please.

UserID: 56 | I say an XP 310 is better because 1. It's and older model (better) and 2. You can shotgun mod it, which is always reversable. Also, the 310 has slightly larger pressure chambers. And no, $30.00 in U.S. dollars is NOT worth a Splashzooka. I paid $20.00 cdn for mine, which im guessing is 15 bucks american

UserID: 1 | http://www.isoaker.com/Armoury/soaker_stat...soakerIDB=xp310 iSoaker has a comparision script. You choose the 2 soakers and it will show you the stats side by side. Overall, the XP 310 has less range but longer shot time. That is due to the lack of Max-D technology and a larger PC. I would get the XP 310 personally because the Max-D technology does eventually break and I'd rather have a gun that's good in the long run.

UserID: 97 | I love my XP-310. Its the only gun I named. I've used a Max-D 6000 and was not saticfied. Its an ok gun, but I love the 310. I can't say why, but you will love it.

UserID: 131 | Doom is right. Both of my Max-D 6000's broke over time. It was sad because they were some pretty good guns. I would recommend the 310 cause even though the range is a little shorter, it has a very long shot time.

Three words: D U H. Lets face it, the zook is totaly under-rated just because of the QFD only thing. If you somehow made a pump for it, made interchangable nozzels (by replacing the QFD of course), and did a backpack mod you wauld have one fo the greatest soakers ever.

UserID: 1 | You can't add a backpack to a Splashzooka. However, I bet that some creative mind (like myself) could whip up a way to make it into a normal gun with a few homemade parts. Then you could make it have a backpack.

UserID: 184 | Where did you find a 'Zooka for $30? I'd love one of those. You could probably make a portable QFD out of a used fire extinguisher and some tubing, but it would have to be filled and pressurized before the battle and require a tyre pump . Hasbro could also have added a pump and put the water tank in the same space as the PC, since the elastic is what really holds the water, if I'm not mistaken. Sort of an SS bullpup configuration, although you couldn't top off your tank after pumping, could you As for the XP/Max-D question, I'd go with the XP, definitely. The whole "instant open" thing has to be made a lot sturdier, and I'll take shot time over power any day. |

Thats what I ment. You would probaly make it so the pump is connected directaly to the pump using a T connector. Quote:
I got mine for $20 on ebay. And just becaust the guy lost the QFD, too. ![]()

UserID: 178 | I'm getting the Splashzooka off target.direct.com (I think). I just used froogle.com and searched for it and found that target.com still had some and ordered it. I just tried that Shotgun mod for the XP. It's great........really great.

UserID: 131 | There are a couple Splashzookas on ebay right now. Some for 10 dollars and some around 35. They seem to be pretty good guns.

UserID: 94 | Hmm I'm tempted to say get the Max-D 6000 because of the better range...if I were you actually I would just get the cheaper one. I got my Xp 310 in a SoakerTag box (just like the Cps 4100) and it was for $15. Which is a reasonable price. As to the $30 Splashzooka? Well, in me and Smudge's war, someone on Smudge's team was trying to shoot me with a Splashzooka. It's a totally wimpy gun compared to other guns. The only Cps a Splashzooka could outshoot would be a 1-3-5, and the SC 500/600. $30 is not worth it. I would pay $15, max. [at]Drewsky: What you mentioned practically changes the Splashzooka entirely, except for the PC size, and they aren't made that big normally because it takes way too long to pump. Thats why SC only guns are SC only. And a backpack mod? That makes no sense you would have to add a pump. Then you would have to change the shell of the gun and mess around with it until it isn't a zooka. Fact is, the Splashzooka is not a great gun. It will kill Xp weaponry, but thats just about it. |
