Default My New Fiction Story

[font=Arial]The Story of the Soakerz

In a town called Gorgonsville, there are two water gun teams. They are called the Dragons, and the Soakerz. Other teams have been started but have quickly died out, falling under the power of the Dragons. They are an evil group of 15 through 17 year-olds who shoot 5 year-old kids with CPS’s and stomp out any opposition. The only team that can stand up to them is the Soakerz. The Soakerz are the most powerful team, but they can not completely destroy the Dragons, yet. They allow anyone with a water gun in, and the age range is great. The youngest member is 9 and the oldest is 37. The Dragons have around 150 people, while the Soakerz have almost 250. So that is where we find ourselves now, in the year 2024.
For a short history of Hasbro since 2000, they had turned from their evil, air pressure ways. Every year more than six CPS guns came out, making the soaking community very happy. For a complete list of the new soakers, refer to the end of this story.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Marc ran to the door, opened it, slammed it, and ran off. He had to hurry to reach base in time. When he got to the base, a huge clubhouse with many underground levels, dug by the fathers of the current Soakerz, he immediately saw the top general, Nick. Nick saw Marc too, and they embraced as only old friends can.
“So, Marc, ready to accept that promotion?”
“Nah, thanks, you know I’m a grunt at heart.”
“I know,” he walked over to a bench and sat down. He seemed excited, but still calm. They talked of the battle they were having today against the Dragons. It was at an old farm with a complete barn, house, shed, and field. Behind the field was a forest, but the fight would not go back there. Soakerz top intel reported that 30 Dragons had holed up there, with a full armory. Most of the Dragons that were there were HWO’s, and they had such weapons as Monster X’s, Monster XL’s, CPS 8000’s(big, hulking back-pack soakers with 30x nozzles), and even 1 or two Monster 50’s.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Later that day, 50 Soakerz headed towards the farm. 25 of them were recon/snipers and armed with the latest sniper weapons, CPS X’s. They snuck up into the barn and hid in the rafters, while the other twenty five, half HWO’s and half grunts, went to the back of the house. The plan was to scare them out of the house, get them to run to the barn, thinking it would be a good base. And when their sorry butts were in there, the snipers would open fire, soaking them instantly.
Marc carried a CPS 1X, a very good assualt rifle with four different nozzles, 20x, 25x, 35x, and 40x. His backup, a MAX-D 9K, had a 15x nozzle and a 50 oz. water supply. He had a fanny pack with several water balloons and a knife, some duct tape, screwdriver, and a first aid kit.
Marc and his squad of 10 men ran in the house to find a kitchen completely empty. But they heard movement in the next room, and what sounded like a weapon pumping. Marc brought his second in command, John, up next to him and said,
“You and three men run across the room, drawing fire. Then the rest of us will run in firing our butts off.” John complied and they ran in. Marc immediately saw 3 juicy 35x streams completely soak a grunt he didn’t know. But Marc ran in with his 40x nozzle on and soaked all three enemies, without being shot at. He found out afterward he hadn’t even touched his water supply.
They continued through the house soaking 5 more people with no more casualties. They finally found a group of around twenty people, clustered by a door, scared, but willing to fight. But after a 50x stream from his HWO’s Monster 50, the whole group minus 4 people shot by the HWO ran off to the barn. Needless to say it was over. Mission accomplished.

More to come. Comments appreciated.

This is great and all. All the soaker story's are. No offense to you and the others, but after Hyper-9 started his, these things have been popping up like baby bunnies in spring. My sugjestion is for everyone to finish their story, and submit it to Doom so we can read it all in one piece in the warstories section of the regular site.
I want to read them, its just I can't keep track of 3 at a time.

And another thing--try to make the soaker story based on more then one big war (that way, not all are the same). Take mine for example--I put in the idea of combining soaker inexperienced users and tech into one story (which makes the story more interesting). If you add more elements to your story, then it will be more interesting.

It is because I am soooo 1337, they can't resist following my example. :P J/K
However, Im just fine with them being here. It gives this forum some real Day-Ta-Day ACTIVITY..... When the stories are done, they'll go up in the WarStories. Till then, I enjoy seeing the light up SSC logo here every day.

Hey, I posted my story once I had 15 pages on Microsoft Exel. That way by the time you finish it, I'll be ready to adding another section, which I will be adding soon I hope.

Geez, it's only against the rules if you speak only in l33t. I don't want people going like this:

H3y 3v3ry0n3, th1s 1s r34lly 4nn0y1ng wh3n y0u h4v3 t0 d3c0d3 th1s l33t wr1t1ng. 1 w1ll 0ff3r $1,000,000 t0 wh03v3r c4n g3t m3 4 CPS 2000!

I don't care if once and a while you go like, "hey d00d," but don't speak only l33t.
